Seven Times
In the Bible, the number seven is the number of completion. Here are four examples in the Bible to prove that this is true:
1. In Genesis 2:2, we see God completed His creation on the seventh day.
Genesis 2:2 “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.”
2. In Revelation 10:7, God reveals the end of time, described as the completion of the mystery of God with the seventh angel.
Revelation 10:7 “But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”
3. In Revelation 15:1, the text talks about seven angels having the seven last plagues.
Revelation 15:1 “And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.”
4. In Revelation 16:17, the seventh angel pours out his vial into the air and God says “It is done”.
Revelation 16:17 “And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.”
There are many other examples in the Bible to prove that seven is the number of completion, fullness and perfection. When studying the Bible watch for the number seven. That is important because it points you to this verse:
Psalms 12:6 “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.”
In the above verses, we read that the words of the Lord are pure, purified seven times. The text also says that the Lord will keep and preserve his words forever. By reading these verses, we see that God has promised to preserve his words forever, therefore we know without a doubt that we have his pure words today. We also know that God did not preserve his words in the Originals, so where did God preserve his words? God’s words are preserved in the King James Bible and the evidence is provided below.

From looking at this the reader can either say that this was all a coincidence or God was purifying his words seven times as He said he would in Psalms 12:6. God’s number of completion is seven and the seventh English Bible was the King James Bible, English also being the seventh language that the Bible was translated into. The King James translators also labored from 1604 to 1611, which is a perfect seven. The fact of the matter is that the King James Bible is God’s perfectly preserved word.
